I really enjoyed reading “Nipple Jesus” by Nick Hornby. The
article is more interesting than the articles that we read last week. I think
this article is easy to read because it is like a story. The narrator, Dave,
shares his personal feelings about the artwork. At first, he thought he liked
this piece of artwork. When he got closer to the piece and he figured that the
artwork was consisted of nipples, he became to dislike the artwork. I agree
with the narrator that an artwork could be beautiful and disgusting at the same
time, and I think many things could be beautiful and disgusting at the same
time, too, if we look at one thing from different perspectives.
I think the artwork was made by nipples is kink of rude. I
do not like the idea of making a picture of Jesus by nipples. However, I think
it is good that a piece of art can change a person’s perspective. When you look
at an artwork for a long time, you may find something that you would not notice.
